Frank Lampard asks Chelsea to try for signing this summer –…

first_imgChelsea manager Frank Lampard has asked the club to try and secure Real Madrid striker Luka Jović on loan this summer. The Blues are expected to be busy this summer, with them able to sign players once again after their ban by FIFA was overturned.Improving their forward options will be among their priorities, particularly with Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi looking likely to leave the club.According to Sport, Jović is the man Lampard has identified as a possible target and has asked Chelsea to try and secure a loan deal for him next season.Embed from Getty ImagesThe newspaper explains that the Blues are keen on the striker, who has endured a difficult first season at the Bernabeu after making a €60m move from Eintracht Frankfurt last season. It’s been rumoured they could look to cut their losses this summer and Chelsea are keen to exploit that, albeit temporarily if they can. However, much will depend on what work Real Madrid can do in the transfer window themselves. The Spanish giants are working on signing a forward themselves this summer, with Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland and Sadio Mané all ‘priority targets’.Should one of them arrive, Jović will find his chances of first-team football limited and thus look for a way out of the club, although at this moment in time, they are happy to give him another chance to prove himself after a disappointing Taboolaby TaboolaSponsored LinksSponsored LinksPromoted LinksPromoted LinksTrending TodayForge of Empires – Free Online GameIf You Like to Play, this Strategy Game is a Must-HaveForge of Empires – Free Online GameUndo聽多多 Hearmore.asia1969年前出生的香港居民現可免費試戴頂尖的歐洲助聽器聽多多 Hearmore.asiaUndoCoworking Space | Search AdsThe cost of shared office in Hong Kong might surprise youCoworking Space | Search AdsUndoHero WarsGetting this Treasure is impossible! Wizards sign Isaiah Thomas to one-year contract

first_imgCeltics at Wizards 5/7/17 The Washington Wizards have signed point guard Isaiah Thomas to a one-year contract worth the veteran minimum, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. In my opinion, this was a low-risk, high-reward signing, as the Wizards were in need of a point guard due to the departure of Tomas Satoransky. Welcome to Washington, Isaiah! Please follow and like us: Prior to signing with Washington, Thomas most notably played for the Boston Celtics, where he blossomed into a well-developed point guard and would eventually lead his team to the Eastern Conference Finals.center_img The Thomas-led Celtics defeated the Wizards in seven games in the Eastern Conference semi-finals in the 2016-2017 NBA season, and he would record a career-high 53 points in Game 2, which would propel Boston to a 129-119 victory at home. The missed games and rare starts are due to hip injuries that have sidelined him for the majority of the past two seasons. In fact, Thomas had arthroscopic hip surgery completed during the 2017-2018 season, during his short stint with the Lakers. The 30-year-old guard recorded 8.1 PPG, 1.9 APG, and 1.1 TRPG in just 12 games played with the Denver Nuggets last season. In those 12 games, Thomas would not start in any of them. In the last two seasons, the veteran guard has only played 29 games, while just starting one contest in the 2017-2018 season. last_img read more
